Crisp & Green has been our go-to salad spot. Lakewood location staff are so courteous and do amazing salad prep (just look at my bombastic bowl)! I always enjoy peeking in the ice box near the register for the delicious, healthful, canned sparking water/soda drinks. The fountain drinks are good as well. I had the pleasure to meet the manager, Octavio, and after a great chat with him, he pointed me to the Crisp & Green app so that I can get reward points (ones I was missing out on for not signing up sooner). Octavio keeps a great staff and a well-kept, clean restaurant, so it's always a joy and a great experience!
Overview
Walking into Crisp And Green for the first time felt like a reset button on my usual lunch routine. I stopped by the location at 6333 E Mockingbird Ln #165, Dallas, TX 75214, United States on a busy weekday afternoon, expecting the typical fast-casual rush. What I found instead was a steady flow of regulars who clearly knew what they wanted, friendly staff who moved with purpose, and a menu that made healthy eating feel approachable rather than preachy.
The menu leans heavily into fresh salads, grain bowls, and protein-packed options, but what stood out to me was how customizable everything felt. I watched a staff member walk a first-time guest through the process step by step, explaining bases, toppings, dressings, and portions in plain language. That kind of guidance matters. Research from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health shows that people are more likely to stick with nutritious eating habits when healthy choices are easy to understand and convenient. This place clearly gets that balance right.
On my first visit, I ordered a grain bowl with warm quinoa, roasted vegetables, grilled chicken, and a house-made dressing. The flavors were clean and layered, not bland or overloaded. You could tell the ingredients were prepped with care. A staff member mentioned they refresh produce deliveries frequently to maintain consistency, which aligns with food safety guidelines recommended by organizations like the CDC. While I can’t see the kitchen operations firsthand, the end result felt thoughtfully executed.
What makes this spot interesting is how it bridges the gap between quick service and mindful eating. Many diners I spoke with during my visit said they come multiple times a week. One woman at the next table shared that she tracks her meals for fitness reasons and appreciates that the menu makes it easy to build balanced plates without feeling restricted. That real-life use case mirrors findings from nutrition studies showing that meals combining fiber, lean protein, and healthy fats can help sustain energy throughout the day.
Reviews around Dallas often mention consistency, and I tested that myself by returning a week later. Same energy, same quality, same friendly interaction at the counter. Consistency is underrated in the restaurant world, yet it’s one of the biggest drivers of trust. According to consumer behavior research published by the National Restaurant Association, repeat customers value predictable quality even more than novelty. That explains why this location stays busy without relying on gimmicks.
The atmosphere is casual but polished, making it suitable for solo lunches, quick team meetings, or post-work dinners. Seating is comfortable, and the layout encourages flow without feeling cramped. While this brand has multiple locations, this Dallas spot feels grounded in its neighborhood, which adds to its appeal.
There are a few limitations worth noting. If you’re looking for indulgent comfort food or late-night dining, this may not be your go-to. The focus here is clearly on freshness and balance, and that means fewer fried or sugary options. For some diners, that’s a trade-off; for others, it’s the entire point.
Overall, the experience feels built on intention rather than trends. From menu design to service style, everything works together to support people who want food that tastes good and fits into real life. That’s not an easy thing to pull off, yet it’s done here with confidence, clarity, and a sense of genuine care that keeps people coming back.

I hadn’t been here since it first opened and honestly had no idea what I wanted. I was also having an off day and not in the best mood, but Anthony was so kind, patient, and helpful. He explained everything clearly, was super accommodating—even let me sample sauces to check the spice level—and really went out of his way to make sure I left happy. Great service makes all the difference, and he nailed it. It’s SO HARD to find people that truly care about their jobs so I thought I would take a moment to recognize him. The Seoul bowl is also a 10/10!
Joanna, Will, and Edwin were great. They made my family and I feel welcome, and took good care of us. They made our salads exactly as we asked. Fantastic service, and great food. We eat here often for these reasons, and we will continue that. Thanks!
I stopped by Crisp & Green and built my own Seoul Bowl and I have to shout out Anthony for making the entire experience so smooth! I had a few questions about the base, toppings, and dressings, and Anthony was not only patient but super knowledgeable and upbeat. Thanks to his help, I created the perfect Seoul Bowl combo with fresh greens, quinoa, shredded carrots, mushrooms, and two delicious sauces. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I paired it with a refreshing cold-pressed juice, and it was the perfect meal that’s light, energizing, and super satisfying. Anthony’s friendly vibe and helpful suggestions made this visit extra special. If you’re stopping by, I highly recommend asking for him, he’s awesome!
My salad was fixed perfectly and was very tasty. I found only one fault, no butter for the bread. Real butter, eaten sparingly, is not bad for you. The bread would have been much better with it.
I can’t even begin to describe how amazing of an experience I just had. After a long exhausting day of travel and finalising wedding details, we stopped (honestly, closer to closing time than we’d ever normally stop) at the 6333 E Mockingbird Ln location and despite being close to closing, we were immediately greeted by truly the friendliest face and warmest welcome. I rarely leave reviews, but there’s no way I was going to leave the restaurant without shouting out Meah and Edwin. Meah went above and beyond to treat us with first class service and kindness. Edwin waited on us several times and even came over to refill our drinks. They were incredibly accommodating and their exceptional service is what keeps us coming back. This will be our go-to C&G location from now on. The food is the perfect mix of all the right things, but I already know that if Meah and Edwin are there, that will be what makes the experience great. Exceptional. I can’t say it enough.
Tatiana was so helpful! She took initiative, had a welcoming personality, and did a lovely job!! I got the bold and buffalo salad and strawberry sunrise smoothie! Delish
